Teens’ Top Ten

Teens in book clubs across the country have nominated the books they think are the best of 2012. Now it’s up to you to pick which of those should be in the Top Ten! Check out the list of books here and vote here from August 15 to September 15. The winners will be announced during Teen Read Week, October 13-19.

I haven’t read all of the books (not yet anyways), but here’s are some of my favorites (in no particular order):

  1. Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
  2. Enchanted by Alethea Kontis
  3. Every Day by David Levithan
  4. I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
  5. Insurgent by Veronica Roth
  6. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
  7. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
  8. Underworld by Meg Cabot
  9. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
  10. 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad
